Risks
Idlecash lets unused hardware do useful work and lets you choose where the resulting revenue goes. It does not promise any particular outcome.
No guaranteed earnings
Earnings depend on your hardware, how long it's idle, the limits you set and demand from supported workloads. They can be small, irregular, or zero. Idlecash does not publish estimates until workloads are live.
No guaranteed returns
The value of any asset — Stock Tokens, ETF tokens or ETH — can go down as well as up, and you could lose some or all of what you convert. Listing an asset on Idlecash isn't a recommendation. Nothing on the site is investment advice.
Stock Tokens
- They are issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and are not shares; they don't carry voting or other shareholder rights.
- They are not offered to U.S. persons and may be unavailable in your region.
- Trading can be halted by the issuer. Prices during extended or overnight sessions may differ from primary market prices.
Onchain risks
- Transactions on Robinhood Chain are irreversible once confirmed.
- Conversions can execute below the quoted amount, down to the minimum you reviewed (0.5% slippage by default).
- Smart contracts — including third-party routing contracts and token contracts — can have bugs.
- Keeping your wallet secure is your responsibility.
Hardware
Contributing capacity uses electricity and adds wear to components. Earn Mode's limits and conditions exist so you can control how much.
Early software
The desktop app and service are in development. Features, supported workloads and payout mechanics may change before launch.
