Why Idlecash
Idlecash doesn’t ask you to invest more money. It lets the hardware you already own do more — without turning you into an infrastructure operator.
You contribute unused resources. Idlecash handles the infrastructure. Supported workloads generate revenue, and that revenue can go toward assets you choose.
One loop, running quietly in the background. You don’t find workloads, manage nodes or move rewards around — Idlecash handles the infrastructure.
01Device
Your computer has unused capacity.
Processing power, graphics, storage and bandwidth that sit untouched for hours while it’s switched on.
02Earnings
Idlecash routes available capacity toward supported workloads.
Idlecash contributes only while your Earn Mode conditions are met — right from your browser. Supported workloads pay for the capacity they use.
03Assets
Generated revenue can be directed toward assets you choose.
Payouts go to your own wallet. You decide the split, and you sign every conversion.
Earn Mode
It can switch on only when your computer meets the conditions you pick — idle for a while, plugged in, battery above a level you choose, and your own GPU use low enough that you won’t notice.
When a condition stops being true, contribution stops.
This is a preview. The real controls are in your dashboard, where Earn Mode runs in your browser — showing only the conditions your browser can actually check.

Idlecash should never feel like it’s taking your computer away from you. You set the limits. Idlecash enforces them on your device and steps aside the moment you’re back.
Earn Mode on or off
One switch. Off means nothing runs.
Active hours
Contribute only inside the hours you choose.
Battery conditions
Require power, or pause below a level you set.
CPU limit
A hard cap on how much processor Idlecash may use.
GPU limit
A cap on graphics use — and it backs off when you start using the GPU.
Resource choice
Decide which resources may take part at all.
Storage allocation· later
An exact amount of disk space, never more.
Bandwidth allocation· later
A ceiling on the network capacity it may use.

Earn Mode may run
The marker is your current local time. Earn Mode only runs inside the arc — and only if your other conditions are met too.
A computer has more to offer than processing power. Idlecash is built to support several kinds of unused capacity — starting with compute.
Compute
First to launch
Unused CPU and GPU capacity can support compatible distributed workloads.
Rendering, batch processing and inference jobs designed to run across many independent machines. Idlecash will only run workloads it has reviewed, packaged and listed publicly.
Storage
Coming later
Unused disk space can potentially be supplied to compatible distributed storage networks.
You would set an exact amount of space. Idlecash would keep it in a separate, encrypted area — never alongside your files.
Bandwidth
Coming later
Unused network capacity can potentially participate in supported bandwidth markets.
You would set a hard cap in Mbps and a monthly limit, so your own connection always comes first.
You don’t need another reward token.
Many resource-sharing networks
Idlecash
Traditional resource-sharing networks often pay contributors in their own token. What that token is worth depends on the network, and turning it into something useful is left to you.
Idlecash works differently. Supported workloads generate revenue, and you choose where that revenue goes — assets you can recognise, understand and actually use.
An example
Sarah has a gaming PC.
She uses it during the day and into the evening. At night it stays switched on — but mostly unused.
She turns on Earn Mode. When her conditions are met, Idlecash makes the available resources available to supported workloads.
That activity generates revenue, and the revenue is directed toward the assets Sarah selected.
The next morning, she can see what her idle capacity generated.

An illustrative example. Earnings depend on workload availability and hardware.
Assets
Pick up to six assets and the share each one gets. Change it whenever you like — it only affects what you convert next.
Stock Tokens are issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and aren’t available to U.S. persons or in every region. Listing an asset isn’t a recommendation, and Idlecash doesn’t guarantee returns.

Privacy & control
Idlecash asks for as little as it needs to do its job. Everything it does on your computer is something you turned on.

Security
No third-party security audit has been published yet. When one is, it will be linked here. Until then we describe the design as it is — not as “unhackable” or “guaranteed”.
Read the security modelUser-controlled wallet
Payouts go to a wallet you own. Idlecash has no ability to move funds out of it.
No private-key custody
Idlecash never asks for, stores or generates your private keys or recovery phrase.
Explicit resource permissions
Idlecash only uses what you’ve allowed, within your limits. It has no reason to read your files, and isn’t designed to.
Transparent workloads
Workloads will be listed publicly — what they are, who runs them and which resources they use.
Clear transaction signing
Every onchain action shows what it does and what it costs before your wallet asks you to sign.
Clear device controls
Status, limits and an off switch are always one click away on the device itself.
